I’ve continually updated and expanded Proxima Nova since 2005, more than doubling the character set from 700 in its initial release to 1453 characters in the latest version. I originally released it in 1994 as Proxima Sans (now discontinued) with a basic character set in three weights (Regular, Medium, and Black) with italics. However, I haven't found a solution for our excel sheet, as there doesn't seem to be advanced font options in excel. My understanding is that tabular fonts have monospaced numbers. I was able to fix my proposal letter in Word by selecting the "tabular" option under advanced font settings. I personally think it looks very unprofessional. On our proposal letter and on our excel cost breakdown sheet, numbers in columns all have different widths and so don't line up with each other. For those of use who aren’t lucky enough to have Proxima Nova (or the similarly cool Gotham font), Monterserrat is a beatiful pseudo geometric typeface with very similar characteristics.
